When you submit information to us using this service, it's treated sensitively in accordance with data protection principles.

For information you submit:

  • Brent Council is the data controller.
  • Delib is the data processor.

Delib collects the IP addresses of each visitor to Citizen Space for the purposes of ensuring network and information security, in accordance with Recital 49 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Additionally Citizen Space collects the IP address of each respondent who starts a consultation response in order to secure the integrity of consultation data.

You are providing your information to Brent Council, Partnerships and Engagement team. The Council’s Data Protection Officer can be contacted via, or 020 8937 1402.

Your information is collected for the purpose of consultation between residents and the Council and also for the purpose of public consultation regarding planning applications which is required to fulfil the council’s duties under the National Planning Policy Framework.

The information may be shared with the Council’s statutory partners such as Brent Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The information shall be retained for a period up to 7 years and shall be processed in adherence to your legal rights, including but not limited to the right to withdraw consent, right to copies of your information and right to be forgotten. If you are dissatisfied with the processing of your information, you can raise your concern with the council’s data protection officer.
